Hey, a Mercury Redstone WITH the tower.... what a concept!

I've seen that model. It is indeed a great scale bird.

I am attaching photos for an earlier model by John, same scale factor, from 2000 at NARAM-42.

I think the photo on the right looks right, and the photo on the left, well, it seems I can’t say what I think of that.

If you're after good detail on the Redstone, take a look here (http://www.realspacemodels.com/). Nicely detailed drawings at a very reasonable price!

Thanks Kevin ,but I was going to order ,but they want $30.00 for shipping :y:

I`ll have to rethink this one. Too bad ,I wanted those drawings :(

Oh, that's right, you're in Canada, aren't you? If so, that's likely why.

If you want, order them and have them shipped to me. I'll then forward them to you in Canada, for exactly what USPS charges me.

$30 for shipping seems a bit excessive!

Of course, you can buy a 1/12 scale plastic Mercury capsule at a very reasonable price. I just bought one about 2 months ago. I think the plastic model might even be based on John Pursley's model.
