An addition to this site that I think would be very interesting is a Photo Library of Motors.

I will use myself as the example

Im looking to buy/fly my first "K" motor this March and am looking for the most entertaining reload. So I started a thread called "Whats your favorite "K" motor?"
Iv browsed through the list of what guys on this site like and why and have narrowed my list to about 20 good reloads.

Alot of this hobby is about being able to recall your favorite rocket with a favorite photo or a video on youtube.

My suggestion would be a place where users can upload photos by Class(LPR,MPR,HPR), Manufacturer, and name and other users be able to locate these photos easily, or browse through a specific category.

*example of dream situation*

Hmmm...."K" motors... ok well our onsite dealer only has AT and CTI so I only want to see those

*click*

and I want a "K" motor

*click*

and lets see I'm a big fan of Red motors

*click*

Oh cool AT's K695R never heard of that one but I have seen CTI's K750 so lets compare.

*clicks*

A handfull of user submitted photos (and videos?) pop up next to eachother with a caption below each one saying, What motor, who took photo, when?, where? any other pertinent info.

*After examination of photos/videos*

Wow AT K695R is alot red-er but CTI K750 has a longer flame. I really like that longer flame so I think I will buy/fly that motor.

Just a thought (actually more of a dream I had last night)

Thank you TRF folks and have a Happy Holidays :handshake:

Definitely. I've got quite a few photos I could contribute too.

It does sound like a really interesting and useful idea, thanks for suggesting it! We're discussing it at the moment, though it might be a while before we're able to do anything to implement it (if we decide to go for it).

Cheers,
Phil
