I did something this morning I never do anymore. I "Lone Wolfed" it around the corner at the schoolyard. These days I usually fly with the group at the local R.O.C.K. and N.E.F.A.R. NAR sections.

I have about 50 MMX engines left from a Quest Christmas sale. I'm slowly working my way through those.

Five flights in about 20 minutes. At 10:00 a.m. it's already too hot in Orlando.

From left to right:
1. Bob Harrington's Carded Sentinal
2. Fliskits HEMV-4 on launcher
3. Fliskits Oddysseus (Saucer on floor - centered)
4. Micro Bakka (could be another of Bob H's)
5. Bob Harrington's Carded Mini Bertha

That's the new/old Estes dowel leg launcher. Well designed and perfect for the small stuff.

Carded rockets #1, 4 and 5 and more are FREE on Wayne Hill's site:

Look for the Partial Paper Rocket Builds and the Ultimate Paper Rocket guide. Thanks Wayne and Bob!

Rockets #2 is from FlisKits at:

Rocket #3 is from the Fliskits FREE page:

That MMX Standoff is a Brian Coyle design:

That Mini Bertha is a favorite with the old MiniBrute Ladybug and Peace Sign decor. Both the Bertha and the Sentinal fly great with mini "T" engines.

All flights were great with full ejects on recoveries. I did have to hold down the launch button longer than normal for the ignitions. Batteries must be old.
I know - where are the launch pics? Come on - It was just me! I don't have the coordination to press a camera shutter and a launch button at the same time.

Looks like you had fun.

I got to find time for that. I haven't launched any Micro Maxx since early last summer.

I have no excuse because my side yard is big enough for Micro Maxx.

Funny thing is I have some of those same models.

Hi John,
Here's the HEMV-4 from Fliskits.
Those interlocking tubes at the back are well worth the time it took to make a few extra cuts.
Great design with some real twists.
