Not st pete that I know of but Orlando has a club called ROCK and you could theoretically make it to a NEFAR launch in Bunnell. Quite a haul, but doable if you have to. And you do, NEFAR launches are great!

hey john....thanks for the info. a good friend of mine has family in green co springs and we thought about going up there to NEFAR on a launch day.

i just launched my first rocket since child hood today at my local r/c flying field wile nobody was there....im hooked like i was years ago.


just wish there where more people local to do it with or maybe even start a club.

There's a good bunch of die-hard rocketeers in each of
the Florida clubs- you'll see many of them at the various
flying locations across the state. You can't go wrong
visiting any of the clubs.

hahahaha...yeah, but its good to know all the state clubs. never know when i mite be around some of them. can take my rockets with me just in case there is a club around.
