Since i have so much extra time before LDRS (that's a bit of a joke) I decided to add to the fleet, since I have a Pizza Rocket, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GbvsA8vZ7Q and a Football Rocket https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaAw-MQm7m4&feature=channel I figured what goes well with Pizza and Football? BEER!

The Monster Beer Snitch was born!

This combines a beer bottle body, mounted to a Monster Snitch. the top of the bottle was lathe turned out of 30 lb per cubic foot foam, the body is cardboard (yup real cardboard) the bottom is one of my Monster Snitches, graphite and fiberglass.

I plan to launch it on a J350 or J500 at LDRS. Bottoms Up!

What flavor?

I've been partial to Blue Moon lately, of course Old Style or Special Export are favorite standbys.

Chose a brown or green bottle.

Such difficult choices! :(

Maybe you need to build two! :)

... with interchangeable labels!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Painted the bottle plus made the centering rings (plywood) and engine mount (fiberglass)

I still need to add the shoulder to the nosecone, bottle cap and label.

It is sims out to over 500 feet with an H123, the J350 takes it to 1600. I really don't believe it will be close to those numbers but gives an idea what it can do.

Almost Done...

The bottle is complete, motor mount bottle base complete, 'snitch fin' complete, label almost complete.

All that is need to finish is the chute / shock core, laminate on the label, and add a upper launch lug. The lower launch lug will just be a hole in the 'snitch fin'.

The bottle is sealed on top, the bottle slips over the bottle base (the white part) and rests on the snitch fin (blue part).

At motor burnout the bottle will (should, hope it does..)drag separate from the base. The snitch fin has a lot of drag, the nose of the bottle has a lot of weight (around 1 lb). this should result in a nice clean separation from drag, It shouldn't zipper because all the parts are heading the right way.

Oh, I will have a bottle cap in place before LDRS!

Don't forget the back label listing the ingredients; foam, cardboard, graphite, paint, etc. in proper proportions, percentages of nutritional value; 100% fun, 100% excitement, etc. and the recommeded daily allowances; fly as often as you can squeeze in during the launch window.
;)

The Beer is done ready for LDRS

No room for a back label, my wife figured it would be good if there was a root beer label on one side and a beer label since I am launching it with the kid.

I have my Pizza rocket to finish (rebuild) https://www.youtube.com/user/kramer714#p/a/u/0/4GbvsA8vZ7Q almost done, actually all I need to do is reset the table and replace the table cloth and it is ready. I added a picture of the Discovery Channel filming Pizza Ground tests.

and my football rocket is complete https://www.youtube.com/user/kramer714#p/u/3/CaAw-MQm7m4

So we have Pizza, Football, and Beer!
